Unhappy i think ive bricked my iphone

ok i was trying to get my own carrier logo on to my phone, anyway when i was restarting it it went on to the apple and would not come off of it, so i then held down the two buttons to put it on to the connect to itunes screen, then i connected it to my itunes 7.4.1.2 when it said to i did the restore but once its done it has an error saying the iphone could not be restored as an unknown error uccurred (1604) ive tried over and over and i cant get it off of the yellow triangle screen now, any help would be great, i dont want a brick for a phone, ohh it was unlocked with iphonesimfree, cheers

Now for a real answer and not stupid advertising like above..

When you go thru the restore process...hold the home and sleep button. I know sounds weird but just give it a try. Hold down the sleep and the home button...then with your other hand click restore and iTunes and continue holding the two buttons. Let go when the restore is finished. Should fix the problem.

    It may sound silly but,

Try a different USB iPhone cable

    Try a different USB Port

    Don't use a USB hub

    Don't use a USB extender

    Try a different Computer

Try a different iTunes version (older the better)

Try a different OS (like OS X or XP)

    Try and try again...

    Hope this helps

Try this ...if you would like to completely Reboot the Phone..Remember this will reset your iPhone back to Factory Virgin Default... all information will be GONE.

    -reboot computer
    -Start up iTunes
    - Control---ALt ---Del---
    -Shut down iPhoneHelper.exe
    -lay iPhone flat on desk
-Press and hold down HOME button
-Plug in USB cable ....Still holding Down HOME button
    - Wait for iTunes to launch iPhone
    -Click on RESTORE
Wait for the iPhone to Restore itself

Go back and Unlock W/ ibrickr and the then Unlock iPhone Software.

    Hi

I had a similar problem...My iphone was on hold over the apple....
connecting was not working...like completrely blocked...nothing to do
    I did this
Press home plus spleep button while restarting my macbook...and finally...it was seen by itunes and I could restore it
Another solution would be to wait till this is completely discharged

    Hope this works for you
