I have an iPhone 1.1.1 with an eplus SIM (Germany). Every night after 12 PM I receive an SMS from a person called "Guu" with a message looking like this "AE&%$§$AAE?ÜAERSTSAAE$%"

What is this ? Has it to do with the iPhone ?

Thats a message from your carrier....on 1.1.1 u cant read it, 1.1.2 has that feature!

Might want to put your SIM in another phone before midnight and see what happens?

Maybe you are getting "silent messages" by police, secret service, etc. and instead of other phones the iPhone displays them :p

But probability for this is rather low, so it should be something else.

I got those msgs too from my carrier (Telcel in Mexico) every once in a while
