    Cool Someone please confirm this...

Did you try inserting the AT&T card for unlocking, then switch to your pinīd simcard?

If thatīs true, itīs not a very good hack at all. But I canīt really see it being true.. Why would your SIM pin be of any trouble for the baseband check?

Please, someone post if you got your sw unlock working with a simcard with a pin code to enter on bootup.

Cheers and get the app uploaded somewhere soon so we can take a look at it.

If you turn on your phone and it asks for a number to start your SIM card is PIN enabled. My card was enabled but I could disable it on my SE W810i.

try the obvious - 0000, 1234 etc if not call your carrier/mobile company and ask them for the default sim card password, or try a different phone to see if you can enable/disable the sim password

if you never set it/reset it

they should be able to help

the reason its probably asking for the sim pin is cause its getting some info off the sim card.. my GF's unlocked ROKR E6 is like that when you swap sim cards, it asks for a sim password,

i could deactivate the PIN Code on my Sim! Go to the Security Options on your Phone and try to deactivate the PIN Question when Phone starts! I could disable it on mine.. ( Switzerland, SWISSCOM Card)

Beware if I'm not mistaken you only have three tries after that your sim gets locked.

thats right, if you cant figure out your pin just ask for a new sim card to your carrier.
