HW Unlocked iPhone works only with one SIM after restore
Hello,
I bought a HW unlocked (1.02 firmware) iPhone that worked with all sims. I had to restore it (with iTunes 7.3.x), used jailbreak and reactivated it with iAsign (the windows web application). After the (succesful) activation the iPhone now only accepts the (local) sim card that was in it during the activation. Any other local sims are not accepted (invallid sim card message).
Who knows what happened and how to solve this?

The full restore process might have erased the "lockdownd file" in your /usr/libexec folder. This file is required in order to the iphone to recognize different SIM when you switch.

Can I just copy this file from another unlocked iPhone I own?

I think that you can do that....but be careful anyway.

Problem solved
I replaced the lockdown file (from usr/libexec) as suggested by hquoctuan and now it accepts all sim cards. Thanks!
