I was just wondering what way you switch to an iPhone if you are already with O2, is it the case that if you bought the phone from the Apple shop that you would simply connect it to iTunes, input your existing account details and switch to one of the the iPhone tariffs.

If you bought from an O2/CPW shop would they do this for you.


From what I read on the various sites it seems it will need iTunes activation like it did with AT&T.

since the O2 iPhone was just announced today, i'm pretty sure no one here knows these answers.

try calling 02. if you're already a customer, can't you just dial 511 or something to talk to a rep?
