Though iTunes is great for copying individual music tracks and videos to and from the iPad, getting individual images you’ve saved on the iPad from the Photos app isn’t as easy. E-mailing each image gets tedious if you have more than two or three, and you might not want to sync your entire My Photos library to the device if you just want a few. Thankfully, there’s a faster way.
Connect your iPad. Plug the 30-pin connector or the Lightning connector to your iPad, and plug the USB end into an available USB port on your PC.
The AutoPlay window will now appear. Click “Import Pictures and Videos using Windows.”
Transfer the images. Click “Import” to transfer photos from your iPad to your My Pictures folder.
Review your photos. Windows Photo Gallery will now appear and show all of the photos you just imported.
