    I believe that there arent any maps of mexico (detailed of course), its not a problem on the iphone.

    Just a week ago Google maps added maps for a bunch of countries (Mexico included), it has street names, however can not make routes or get directions yet. It seems that the iPhone access to different maps than the ones in the maps.google.com website, if someone knows how to force the maps.app on the iphone to look at the same maps than maps.google.com does please inform...

    Does the map.app reads from Google or Yahoo?

    Because if it's doing it from Yahoo they don't have streets views from Mexico, Chile and probably many countries.
