How long does 1.1.3 Jailbreak DevTeam take...
I started with a "clean" 1.1.2 jailbroken and unlocked phone... nothing else installed.... updated the installer and installed the BSD subsystem update (2.0) - then ran the 1.1.3 Jailbreak in the installer... It has been sitting in the installer window for the last hour and states:
Running Install Script - Have a Sandwich
Should I exit this and try again? Anyone know why it is hanging.... Thanks for any input.

Part of the process is downloading the ~150 mb restore archive, which can literally take days if you're on edge. If you are on WIFI, don't quit out just yet, part of the process will freeze your phone intentionally (or appear to, it doesn't really).

I was on WiFi and it was taking forever (2 hours)... I shut the phone off and restarted it and it was in 1.1.3 and with the 1.1.2 baseband... working just fine... although my contacts will not sync.... and I cannot get safari to work... even on Wifi any thoughts... everything else is working...

i posted up a similar thread stating it was taking ages. i have a decent wifi connection and it took me about 2 and a half hours doing the install. i left my phone and didnt touch it. its tempting just to restart it, but dont, hjust leave it and it will finish. it takes a while downloading the file and installing it. everyone is used to the installation being quick because its usually itunes doing the install and sending the data through usb. this time its the iphone processor doing the installation so its going to be slow.

mine took 47 min. Be patient.

It's interesting that some users report that this installation only take them 47 mininute while others say it can take much longer.... I am going to do a fresh restore back to 1.1.1 jail break and unlock. then move to 1.1.2 and then do this update again to 1.1.3...
This time I will not touch the phone... hopefully it will work this time around... When I restarted the phone it must have broke something in the software because somethings are not right:
I cannot add certain sources to the installer.... they are not recognized... my email doesn't work right... my fingers are crossed this time...
I wonder why all the differences in install times.

I have done it twice and it took over 30 mins each and it froze both times and caused me to restore it both times. wait until a stable one is published

I had it sit and it appeared to be locked up and frozen, took 50 minutes. I might add that i had a few pop ups appear in the process of the update "running low on disk space". but all went well, it rebooted and i was updated.

Mine has been running now for 3 hours... i have a speedy wifi connection but its just sitting there with the status bar under the G in jailbreaking and hasnt moved... should i reset it or let it keep going?
btw this is my second attempt, the first time it finished but i couldnt boot my phone so i had to start from scratch. This time i started with a clean install and now its frozen during the install.
