Default How to force recovery mode

As written elsewhere, after having installed probably a faulty version of lockdownd I have problems with my iPhone.

    The iPhone is slow
It is not recognized by any software (iTunes, Independence, AppTapp)
I can login via ssh but everything I try gives me an error (for example deleting via rm command the lockdownd or transferring files)
If I press home-power button to put it in recovery mode, it shuts down

Is there any way to force recovery mode via terminal commands?

if you can ssh in and change the permissions on the clockdown file to 755 using chmod

otherwise restore (won't effect the unlock) use shift click restore method and follow this guide and leave out the unlocking bit

    Try this:
    Power off the iPhone
Power on by pressing the Power and keep the Home button pressed, it should take you to the recovery mode.
