Default How to find out my iPhone's battery health?

Hello, is there a way of finding out my current battery health?

I am using my iPhone for more than two years and think the battery needs replacement. However, first I would like to know what is current battery capacity and how big would be benefit of getting a new one.

    My iPhone is "2G" / firmware 3.1

Restore the iPhone, set it up as new - disable push, let it charge fully and see how long it lasts without charging it again under "moderate usage" I still get more than a week out of my 2G iPhone which is also two years old.
