I was messing around with summerboard icons and then I changed the theme and my phone got stuck on one particular screen, I think I bricked it. I'd like to restore it but before I do I want know if there is something else that I need to be aware of. So my question is whether or not restoring an unlocked 1.1.1 is as simple as hitting the restore button on iTunes, or is there something else that I need to do to prevent further damage to my phone? Thanks!

This week restored it just by restoring it bij iTunes. I used jailbreakme to activate it.
AnySim 1.1 will still work, no problem.

i dont trust jailbreakme, many people had too much troubles with it..
what i did was.. in Independence DFU Mode, downgrade to 1.0.2, activate, jailbreak, SSH, pre 1.1.1 upgrade, upgrade on iTunes (update button not restore) iNdependence activate (automatic jailbreak) and SSH.

jailbreakme was updated and fixed all the bugs.. you should now be able to use it with no problems..

I really recommend using jailbreakme.com, it just works!!!
I had no troubles, used up to 5 times. All my friend's 1.1.1 iPhones
worked right, including YouTube.
Jailbreakme.com recommended.

I recommend the using the normal pc method, the one with the *#307# code. and visiting jailbreak.toc2rta.com, then CARNAVAL and you're set..

If you already unlocked with anysim 1.1 then you wont need to unlock again if you restore, since the restore doesn't affect the unlock..

restore with itunes, then go to www.jailbreakme.com, it worked for me.
