How do I put AppTapp on my unjailed 1.1.1

Just upgraded my iphone to 1.1 using the independence version. All good but could not install the latest AppTapp 3.1 Installer. I just want to install SendSong 1.1.

    Any suggestions?

    see volkspost sticky here http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11391

scroll down to 2. Install more apps. He will show how you can install it. If you used the newer iNdpedence then you don't need to do the lengthy instructions, just use the customize tab in iNdpedence to add the apps. Installer.app can be pulled out from the apptapp installer by right-clicking >show contents.

EDIT: there is an edit near the top explaining how to install installer.app if you used the newer iNdpedence. I copied it below.

    Code:
    [EDIT]
If you used iNdependence 1.2.3 you may skip most of the steps in "Install more apps". During activation and Jailbreak the patch is done automatically
You still have to do the following to install the software Installer on the iPhone:
    --
The app we choose is Installer.app from Nullrivers AppTapp Installer 3.1. The Mac installer still does not work, you have to install it manually first.
ctrl-click on the programm "AppTapp Installer" and choose "Show package content" in the menu. Open "Contents/Resources" and copy "Installer" to the desktop.
Fire up your FTP-Client and connect to the iPhone. Open "Applications" and copy "Installer" in there. Click Installer once to aktvate it and hit command I for Information then. Make sure access privileges are set to 755. Close FTP-Client.
    --
If you used iNdependence 1.2.2 to activate you can still use the steps described in the tutorial below to patch the springboard or use the "SpringBoardPatcher" that comes as additional app with iNdependence 1.2.3.
You simply doubleclick "SpringBoardPatcher" in Finder or use the Terminal to execute.
    [/END EDIT]

I have the AppTapp installer (extracted) but when I try to add it to my applications through independence it is not highlighted (it won't allow me to choose the installer).

    Any suggestions??

I think it may have something to do with changing the permissions of the installer to 755 or something?? How do I do this and do you guys think this is the reason it will not show up in independence when I try and install it into the app folder??

Anyone?? Still cannot get the new installer manually on my phone?? When I try to do it through independence the installer.app is not highlighted and I cannot get into my phone through transmit. I use my ip address + username (root) and password (dottie). I'm on 1.1.1.

    Any suggestions??

How on earth do you expect to get any apps on your iPhone if you don't have write permissions?! You need to jailbreak your phone if you want to be able to install apps onto it, iNdependence still requires you at least have a jailbroken phone and SSH installed. It's common sense really.
