About LinkBacksI have XP Pro SP1 and iTunes 7.2 installed. But, I can't get my unlocked iPhone 2G to be detected by MobilEdit. Do I have to update to SP2? What do I do?

Well, always having the latest updates are the number one solution. So try updating everything in your PC and then retry.

Bumping.... I have a similar prob ....I'm having itunes 11.0.1.12, windows 7.... i just got a phone from my mom's friend... so i dunno anything of its history... its an iphone 2G ... working on OS 3.0(7A341) ...so i connect this phone to my laptop and it says it doesnt recognize it...and the itunes doesnt detect it... it dosnt even charge from my laptop ... so any help wud be appreciated
.... and this is the first time im using an iphone... hence plz do explain in detail whatever u say ... i DO kinda need spoonfeeding
