Default How to detect type of unlock..?

i got my iphone pre-unlocked and now facing the upgrade to 1.1.1 i am trying to find out what kind of precedure was used to unlock mine to 1.0.2.

does anyone know how to find out what was used to unlock the phone?
maybe there is a log file on the thing somewhere?
i checked the installer (trying to be lucky) but as far as i can say there is no info in there to tell me what was used to unlock it.

i hope someone here can give me a hint what to use/check to find this info...

    thanks!
