If you used pwnagetool, are you on a mac?

If so...

Go to PwnageTool.app/Contents/Resources/CustomPackages/Youtube.bundle/files

Use either SSH or an AFC2 browser (eg DiskAid) to copy the files in this hierarchy to the matching places on your iPhone.

Then restart your iPhone... That might fix it.

thanks so much for the nice tutorial.
i have been using my iphone for almost a year now, and got quite into jailbreaking and all the other programms that come with it.

only one essential thing i don't understand yet:
how does the whole installing and copying part work?
i have used cyberduck for a while, but just for copying rintones, but have never installed sth.

here is what i got:
mac book alluminium
2 iphones 3g: mine an hacktivated one, and my friends is original by tmobile(germany) ---> want to get mine to have push

and another question: does the whole thing work too if i use blackra1n? And will the certificate good for later updates too???

i know it's a lot of work, but do you think you could make a video of the whole process???

SORRY I think I posted this earlier on the wrong thread
to Olethros:
you recently provided guidance on restoring my 3Gs (mac operating system)
and making a 2nd jailbreak and unlock so that i could restore my push notifications... It worked fine for about 2 weeks
Just recently my push notifications have stopped working again with an APP called "Stocktrac Pro",even thought the itunes utility "Ipush test" continues to work and sends me push notifications.
The author of Stocktrac is really helpful and has done a few tests and assures me that they are working fine from his end here is his comments
Here's the log. You are user XXX .... Looks like these tickers all triggered and a push notification was sent. I double checked that you have current info set for your phone and it's all there. I'm not sure what to do from here...

Can you suggest what might have caused the failure. as we originally discussed i restored with my authorised SIM

I know some members don't need outside help to resolve push or notification problems but for $6.00 I thought it would be a good investment:
after paying, my certificates came in less than 5 hours and i had no problem installing them on my iphone 3Gs. and i am no computer expert
I still had problems and Pushfix stayed with me back and forth with emails and I now have a fully functioning APP with push service.
At one point it required PUSHFIX to communicate with the APPS author to resolve the problem
I have no connection to this service other than this case so I can recommend them to those of you having any kind of Push or notification issue

Hi,
After doing what the tutorial is asking I got stuck where I need to run the application that has push. When I click on it the application crashes. what should I do? I cannot even activate or desactivate the push option in settings as it is not there.

What application are you running? Did you activate the iPhone legitimately through iTunes first?

Did you restore from an iTunes backup? after you restored your Pwned IPSW (without hacktivation)

You must set your iPhone up as new... when iTunes prompts you for a choice.
