Default Hope this doesn't sound too dumb!!

i have an unlocked iphone running 1.1.2, have the latest installer app etc and am on T-Mobile UK. Originally i think the unlock was done using IPSF on the otb 1.0.2 and the unlock has stayed in place.

i understand that if i update to 1.1.3 via itunes it will upgrade my baseband and definatley lock my iphone...

But if i use the new Dev team soft upgrade release on installer app will this keep my iphone unlocked as it is now running the new 1.1.3 or is all the talk about the nate/dev team 1.1.3 jailbreak purely used just to jailbreak a otb 1.1.3 and not unlock it???

Yes. it'll still remained unlocked. As both are just "Soft" Updates.
