Default Holy sh!t, iPhonesimfree is going to make millions...

Scam or not, either way they're going to make millions for sure.

Assuming approximately 100,000 orders are placed (at minimum, this is because bladox had 100,000 requests for TurboSim), times an average price of $32 per unlock (although many are paying $36 per unlock due to 50-license packs). 100,000 orders X $32 per order = $3,200,000 dollars. Since they don't even have a payment processor to worry about, and are doing bank transfers, and also have a pretty simple site, all those small fees should not add up to too much. Also, from what CNN reports, iPhonesimfree is a 2-man team, so they won't have to worry about paying anyone. So basically, these guys are gonna get at least $3 million at MINIMUM. I'm sure the actual demand will be much much higher, especially once it's confirmed working. Genius, bloody genius...

I'm totally not understanding where the 100,000 t-sims sold is coming from, I have extremely serious doubts about that number. I would guess somewhere around 2-3k sold. I'm guessing that there are only 300k iphones in circulation right now. I'm guessing ipsf will sell about 10-20k licenses for there software. Still a ton of licenses, but nowhere near what people are guessing. People are going to be cautious about purchasing it considering most likely after the 5th it won't work anymore. I really don't think people need to exaggerate these numbers.

    Code:
(at minimum, this is because bladox had 100,000 requests for TurboSim)
100,000 T-sims were not sold, only demanded, the above poster says. Not the same thing.

I agree that the demand is rather high for iPhone unlocking. With little marketing, there will be lots of them sold.

Analysts estimated 500,000 Iphones were sold on the first weekend alone. Apple is shooting for 3 million sold by year end. While they might not make their goal, I think it is reasonable to say they will at least reach it half way or more, especially now that there are multiple unlock methods.
