    Sendowski.de now has a patch for 1.1.3 called ForwardMSGFix 1.1.3 which worked for me (1.1.2 OTB upgraded to 1.1.3 via iTunes, then unlocked and jailbreaked using Ziphone 1.2).

    Really liked this simple plist edit (and ##002# gave me two screens of error messages). Thanks.

    Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

    Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

    Another confirmation of working on 1.1.4 :-)

    He has a 1.1.4 version now.
    Yes, it works for 1.1.4, but when I try Settings->Phone->Call Forwarding, it gives me the error "Could not save call forwarding setting."

    I did it as follows (1.0.2OTB->1.1.1(iTunes+Wi-Fi)->1.1.4 (iTunes+iPlus2.0b)):

    The problem was solved by changing ShowCallForwarding key to 'false' in 'carrier.plist' file. It resides in '/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/Unknown.bundle' directory. Unfortunatelly, unlike in 1.1.1, it is in binary format.

    1. Install EricaUtilities bundle. It has a nifty 'plutil' utility for binary .plist modifications.
    2. Run Term-vt100 (psw:alpine)
    cd "/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/Unknown.bundle"

    You can run /var/root/bin/plutil -l carrier.plist to see that the key is set to 'true' (scroll up).

    /var/root/bin/plutil -v false -s ShowCallForwarding carrier.plist to change key value to 'false'

    You can repeat this also for ShowCallForwarded key, if you wish

    Repeat /var/root/bin/plutil -l carrier.plist to verify that the key(s) changed to 'false'.
    3. Reboot device and enjoy!

    I tried both the patch AND the above method too. Neither worked for me

    [1.1.1 OTB (jailbreakme & AnySim) > 1.1.4 (iTunes & iPlus 2.0b)]

    The file 'carrier.plist' in '/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/Unknown.bundle' does not contain any info about Call Forwarding. It instead shows details for various Carriers...

    Any suggestions?

    You may be on a carrier that is not "unknown" to the iPhone (O2 perhaps?). Find the carrier bundle that corresponds to the carrier you actually have. For most of us that's an Unknown carrier, but it may be different for you.

    With 1.1.4 & 2.0 on windows or mac I do this:

    1) use winSCP [Win] or Cyberduck [Mac] and navigate to "var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles.bundles"

    2) Copy carrier.plist (F5) to the Desktop

    3) Visit this HERE... Browse the file you copied and click the convert tab and save it back to the Desktop again.

    4) Open the converted folder and edit like below

    <dict>
    <key>AllowEDGEEditing</key>
    <true/>
    <key>CarrierName</key>
    <string>Carrier</string>
    <key>IntlDataRoamingSwitch</key>
    <true/>
    <key>ShowCallForwarded</key>
    <true/>
    <key>ShowCallForwarding</key>
    <false/>

    <key>ShowDialAssist</key>
    <false/>
    <key>ShowTTY</key>
    <true/>
    <key>StatusBarImages</key>
    <array>
    <dict>
    5) Now save changes and upload this back to "var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles.bundles"
    [I personally don't replace the "carrier.plist" I rename the original to "carrier.plist.bak" first then I upload my new one]
