Default HERE's THE FIX - STOP MESSING WITH plists

To everybody with "Call Forwarding Active" issues, here's how to fix it in 2 simple steps:

    1) Add "http://www.sendowski.de/" as a source in installer and refresh your sources
    2) Install the program "ForwardMSGfix 1.1.4"

    DONE!!!...

Feel free to rep me if I helped...

    1) use winSCP and navigate to "var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles.bundles"

    2) Copy carrier.plist (F5) to the Desktop

    3) Visit this HERE
Browse the file you copied and click the convert tab and save it back to the Desktop again.

    4) Open the Converted folder and edit like below

    5) Now save changes and upload this back to "var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles.bundles"

I personally don't replace the "carrier.plist" I rename the original to "carrier.plist.bak" and upload my new one.

    Carrier: TIM

    Sao Paulo/Brazil

    it works PERFECT.

    ty my friend. :hack:

Thank to anyone contributing to this thread, this has been indeed very helpful!

Just to clarify, I've found out that ShowCallForwarded shows the message when you call someone and your call is been forwarded to voicemail, while ShowCallForwarding is the message appearing while you place a call and you have call forward to voicemail active.

    Hope this helps!

Is there any way to turn the message off in 2.0?

    Edit:
Nevermind, you do it the same way as 1.1.4; editing carrier.plist inside unknown carrier.

Can you please provide instructions on how to do this on a 2.0 phone? Thanks

If the same hacks as on 1.1.4 work (as locklin claims), you should consider this: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36514
This allows you to set your own carrier preferences in a clean way (i.e. without touching the "unknown carrier" settings, which you may need when abroad).

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

    Hi!
Do u mean that u not delete the original plist?? Just rename it to .bak and let both the modded one And the .bak one be in Carrier.Bundles...file???

"5) Now save changes and upload this back to "var/mobile/Library/Carrier Bundles.bundles"
[I personally don't replace the "carrier.plist" I rename the original to "carrier.plist.bak" first then I upload my new one]"
