Help with updating 2nd Gen Ipod Touch 3.0 to Latest Stable CFW.
I have a ipod touch 2g (8gb) jailbroken w/ ver. 3.0 (pretty old shit I know) so I was wondering, how would I go about updating it and what I need to know. Any tutorials I can be directed to in order to familize myself with what I need to do. Since I havent been on the ipod scene much I'm totally lost.
any help would be great. Thanks.

You can simply update or (i recommend) restore to 4.2.1 and then jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 from here Dev-Team Blog - Thanksgiving with Apple. This is an untethered jailbreak for you. It is also 100% free/legal (unlike 3.1 which costs you $$ to update to - this is an iPod touch only restriction)
