Default HELP - TurboSim method in Brasil, "Call Forwarding" chewing up credits!

WTF, I did the TurboSim method and using a pay-as-you-go Brasilian local carrier chip (TIM). I receive a great signal, but everytime I go to make a call it displays "Call Fowarding". It is like the phone is calling long distance/internationally even though it is a local chip and calling local numbers -- Help!!! I made sure that "Call Forwarding is turned "OFF" in the Settings, but it still pops up that message everytime I make a call.

For the moment, I am just receiving calls. Using the phone to make calls I estimate is costing a $1/min!

Any ideas?...is the TurboSim really like the phone roaming and forwarding the numbers .

    You are wrong.
This has nothing to do with forwarding your calls to the AT&T card, as you imply.
This is a normal procedure to all GSM carriers.
You can safely ignore this message.

Well, I can ignore the message. But, it is costing a fortune. I have another unloced RAZR V3 and does not eat up the credits like this phone. I have no idea why(??)

It displays the "E" for EDGE, but I am not using it so I don't know why my calls are costing me 4x as much as in the V3.

    Acredite.
