BUTTT I am ready to upgrade. I made a post yesterday and someone said just upgrade to 1.1.3 and run ZiPhone.

I don't have to virginize it or nothing? This seems to easy...

im also still on 102 and i think i have to virginize, b ut im too unsure to do it for what for me is too few rewards

seems like a lot of features were updated... but i totally hear what your saying...

if its not broke, why fix it...

if i was on 111 then id upgrade cause its easy, but i cant afford to break this one cause im not gonna be getting another one, and i here mixed versions of what has to be done so im not sure

Hi there, you need to virginize the iPhone first, then you can update in 2 ways:

1.- Update to 1.1.1, jail break, use the OKtoPrep and update to 1.1.2, jailbreak and unlock SIM, then use the official Dev Team Update to 1.1.3

Or Update via itunes to 1.1.3 and use ZiPhone

Just did mine 2 days ago.

I did the virginizer (this took about 10 minutes) and then I ran itunes and went straight to 1.1.3.

Then ran ijailbreakme (OS X app, based on ZiPhone) and jailbreaked and unlocked it.

Everything is working fine.

did you use anysim 102? thats what im on

i think ill wait until a new fw feature comes that makes me want to do it

yeah i think im going with al on this one... im still a little lost since i was gone, and have been searching for a tutorial on it, seems not to bad tho. i think ill wait for when they release the 3rd party apps fw

I didn't know how it was previously unlocked as it was already unlocked when I bought it off ebay.

From everything that I had read on here, the virginizer seems the ONLY way to restore your unlocked 1.0.2 back to the original state.

It wasn't difficult to do

the thing is im still using a 1.0.2 firmware wich i jailbreak with ibrckr and unlocked ith Iunlock so my question is
should i jus t upload to 1.1.3 and then just run the zipphone? or should i do something else first?
