i had the same problem. I got one of those "precision" track repair pens, which is about as precision as a sledgehammer and i repaired the track where i pushed too hard with the needle. This allowed me to actually use the screen which was unresponsive before and i was then able to restore, which again failed with error 1011. but i could now activate, jailbreak add ssh and add installer. But still no sound, no wifi, i get a sim error too. i Still believe that i've done some pyhsical damage, and not actually any firmware damage. I don't know how to fix this yet, but i think some solder might fix the problem. I suspect that i've broken the track at the 1.8V source as well as on the board wher the other needle goes. I'm going to borrow a microscope and check it out fully on monday. when i work it out i'll let you all know. I have considered replacing the comms board, which should fix it too.

weird. I have sound, phone works OK and all is working fine. Its just the battery thing (phone doesnt want to charge)
