Default HELP : Removing Contacts in Iphone

Is there anyway I can delete all the contacts in my iphone ?

I dun like the way the contacts are organized now.

I have just tidied up my contacts in Outlook 2003 and hoping that I can re-sync again.

any thoughts appreciated .. thanking you in advance

Maybe you could try the following:

    1) Connect iPhone to computer
    2) Open iTunes
    3) Select your iPhone under Devices
    4) Click on 'Info' tab
    5) Scroll to bottom - should see 'Advanced'
    6) Tick 'Contacts' where it says replace information on this iPhone

Note: iTunes will only replace this information during your next Sync, then it will go back to normal.

    Maybe it will help.

The other thing you could try is delete the 'Contacts' database file.

If you are using iBrickr navigate into the following directory:

    var / root / Library / AddressBook /

    Delete the file : AddressBook.sqlitedb

Note: Before you do this download it - so you have a backup.

Once deleted turn the iPhone off and back on

Contacts should now be empty and a blank 'AddressBook.sqlitedb' file should now exist.

    Finally, try re-syncing via iTunes

I successfully deleted the file, rebooted (no contacts), reuploaded my contacts folder, rebooted and the contacts were back.

    REMEMBER TO BACKUP FIRST THOUGH.
