Just got my new iPhone, super excited...

1.) Whatever program i use to activate it wants me to locate the unzipped iphone firmware files?? where is that how can i do it?

2.) if i activate and jailbreak it with independence, when the dev teams software becomes easier to install i want to do it, will this interfere?

if you search, you'll see that if you rename the ipsw to zip, u can extract the files and you should be on your way!

I'm not sure which version of the firmware you're looking for.
