having done that, my iphone isnt jailbreaked right?

nope its not, you will require the jailbreak pgm or something else to do that.

youtube doesnt work if it isnt activacted properly through iTunes. However, you CAN get it to work if you used one of those alternative activation methods. check out this.. http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2698
