so my phone died and i began to charge it. after an hour i chcekc on it to see that the phone was scorching hot and the screen was flashing white and glitching weird colors and it all stopped when i unplugged it from the wall. i plugged it back in and the same thing kept happening. i tried restoring the firmware and now it wont even turn on.... i know ther is still juice in the battery. i wont turn on even if its pluged into the wall. any ideas?

try to press the home + power botton for about 20 seconds untill you will see an apple . it will stay on the apple fot about a minute and than it will reboot and start the phone .

thanks for the advice but it still wont turn on. ive left if to charge over night and its really hot. tried connecting to itunes but the screen is stilll off.
