HELP: My Memory is gone!
Hi Folks, there is a Problem with my iPhone. This is a 1.1.1 US Modell, working with Vodafone Card. (anySIM, ...)
Everything is great, but in the last Days, my Memory is gone!
If I am looking in my iTunes, then I can see, how the Memory usage is.
There I can find out, that I have 1,3GB Music/Audio on my iPhione, no Fotos, and (I am using a German Version) 5,79GB "Andere" ????? What is this? Where can I find this Informations and how can I delete this?
Please help!
Thanks, Peter

Delete /var/root/Media/iTunes_Control using WinSCP.

Anderes is german for other. You have some other files somewhere on the phone .

did you use "SwapTunes" or how ever its called to sync with 2 iTunes?
because the info-screen only shows the grouped content for the active iTunes library
also check the folder /var/root/Media/.
which subfolders do you have?

Delete /var/root/Media/iTunes_Control2 too.
Another way around is to go to Setting/General/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings. Your notes, contacts, calendar etc will also be erased.

Thanks to all. I seems, as if the Problem was the TRASH Folder. I just deleted THIS (!!) and everything is fine.
I never used any other Software else then iTunes to sync the phone.
I never used somthing like "SwapTunes" or something like this.
But, have a lot of thanks! :-)
