Default help! my iphone is faulty. need warranty advice

    Hi all

After trying to fix my iphone for two months, I have decided that my iphone is faulty.

I got a friend who was visiting the states to bring one back, and now I dont know what to do, as I live in the UK mainly.

What will happen if I go into apple Uk shop? Can I claim on warranty? will it cost me?

How to avoid explaining I dont have a ATT account?

    Can someone please help

    same boat...

you MUST have an activated iPhone even your phone don't switch on.

The AppleStore guys will activate your phone for 39$; after that you have to choose a contract plan (i.e. 59,99$ montly for 2 years) and if you wish to break the contract you pay 175$.

P.S. but if you live in UK, isn't better to activate there and ask for replacement in warranty?

ATT offers a trial period. just open an account and cancel within 14 days i think.
