Default HELP ME! iPhone stuck after lockdownd replacement

    Hello,

trying to solve the no service issue I uploaded in the usr/libexec directory a patched lockdownd file found on the net.

I restarted the iPhone and now the iPhone is extremely slooooow in everything, it has not wifi anymore and even if it is in the dock it is not visible to iTunes and every other applications (such as independence).

And if I keep pressed the home and start button together, I get the apple logo and hen the iPhone shuts down, without coming to the "connect to itunes" logo :-(

Help me please. Ah, I can access the terminal on the iPhone so I can run commands...I tried to run rm /usr/libexec/lockdown but the system said it is a read only file!

    What can I do???

There is an easier way. Let your phone start up. It will take FOREVER. Wait until the screen goes off.

You should now be able to SSH into the phone.

    Run the following commands:

    cd /usr/libexec

    chmod 755 lockdownd

    reboot

@gaz919 the problem is that I cannot perform the restore because after having installed the lockdownd my Mac does not see the iPhone

@belcorriko thanks for the suggestion. I tried but when I run chmod 755 lockdownd it says that the file is read only file system.

    Can you help me? Thanks!

if you hold the home button and then connect it to the pc it should see it and then hold shift and click restore or option on mac only restore 1.02
this guide will make it easier to setup your phone just leave out the unlock part
