I just changed the Springboard.app file to the patch version so I can change my carrier logo, and now the phone will not load, it just shows the apple sign. Can anybody help plzzz?

Have you tryed combinations of power and menu? like reset try several times....

but mine sometimes work sometimes no...

I know I saw this before in this forum. There is a way to kick it out of this mode and get it to reboot properly.
OK, try this... Hold down the power and home buttons for 10 seconds and see if it boots up properly.

I tried everything I could. I ended up having to restore and all that jazz. Spent 2 hours sweating. I am not the only one who had this issue. I am staying the hell away from summerboard until they confirm it works properly.

I'd say there is quite a few people with summerboard problems...most common being a blank screen with just the service status bar on the top part of the screen.
