Hello , first off id like to apoolgise if there is a tutorial for this but i didn't know what to search.

I Live in the UK and got the iphone 2gb when they had not long been out. I got it Unlocked , and jailbroken running 1.1.1.

Last week i decided it was about time i updated to a new firmware. I did a tutorial where you manually choose which firmware you want to install. I think i did 3.0.0. But now i get this when i turn on the iphone : (except it has 1bar in the top left not locked sim. )



And when i connect to itunes i get this :



Now am i going to need to purchase a American At&t simcard to get it to start? Or is there a hack where i can get by this with my UK orange sim.

The 1.1.1 unlock was not permanent and got lost when you restored to OS 3.0.

Use redsn0w to jailbreak iClarified - Apple News - VPN Tracker 5 Released make sure to enable unlock via bootneuter. Bootneuter is permanent.

Then you should be fine.
