I upgraded firmware thru itunes it was the 3.1.2 i think. Im trying to unlock it to use tmobile on it but cant find anything online. Do i have to downgrade the baseband? is there a app i can use to unlock it? I used blanrain to jailbreak it but it doesnt unlock it. help please

Blacksn0w does not support the 2G iPhone (1st model was 2G not 1G)

You need to use bootneuter. Be careful with bootneuter. Make sure you turn off the automatic screen lock and never restart the phone during the flashing process even if it takes many minutes. It is only safe to restart if it is hung on "determining settings"

i just downloaded bootneuter and im flashing neuter right now then im going to turn unlock on. what does this do?

This gives a permanant unlock for your iPhone. You still need to jailbreak and hacktivate (for example with redsn0w or blackra1n) but you should never need to unlock again.

Do not enable the fake blank (FB) option. You should leave the bootloader version as it is now.
