I'm with you on the size. It's as small as it can reasonably be.

The point is that it should be able to turn off EDGE but still used GSM phone and wi-fi. The assumption that every user will always have unlimited data access is a bad one.

The iPhone does have a "hard drive". It's not a hard-disk drive, but it is hardware with drivers that serves the same function that the spinning disk does in your bigger iPods and computers. Is it important to the discussion that it has no moving parts? Is there a better-understood term for mass-random-access-storage-device? I've been using "volume", but I'm not sure that's as easily understood.

if I want to turn off "edge", I just enter my vodafone settings and delete the "t" off of "Internet".

Don't bother putting things like size and storage space in the email, it is the most obvious thing that apple will improve over time anyway.
