why? it keeps reverting to on when i set it to off

BossTool or BossPrefs? The latter is what you need. Works fine on 1.1.4

Ok, how do you tell your Edge is still on after turning it off? Stock/weather updates work? If so, check if you have WiFi turned ON by chance. If not, go back to BossPrefs, and switch Edge to ON. Yes, switch to ON to turn it off... I know it's confusing, but it looks like BossPrefs needs a little bit of training on the first run... For me it listed my IP but showed WiFi OFF while it was very much up and running... Try playing with it a bit.., should work flawlessly afterwards! Just needs some breaking-in...
