Hey guys, I'm new here but hope to help out the community

I'm currently also a MacRumors forum member.

I joined these forums hoping for the following

A) Help research and find solutions to known problems ( as opposed to the bickering and repeated threads over and over again on MR)

B) Offer any help, expertise, beta testing

I was a computer tech for 5 years, and am quite competent with a soldering iron
