    Default Heaphones

    I just got the Iphone. I tried to listen to music through the headphones, but the music still comes through the speaker and not the headphones. Do I have to manually switch the settings on the iphone to use the headphones? Thanks.

    By "headphones" you mean the earphones supplied with the iPhone or another headphones that you have?

    If you're trying to use other headphones, you should know that the regular headphones jack do not perfectly fit in the iPhone's earphones output.

    TurboSIM-like methods? No way.

    - Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
    - Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
    - Currently on TIM carrier.

    You don't need to switch anything on Settings. By simply plugging your earphone in, you should be able to listen through it. Looks like you got a defective earphone plug or something like that.

    Try using your earphones in other devices. That way you'll know if the earphones are defective or your iPhone is defective.

    Ok. Stupid Noob user here. I tried again. I didn't plug all the way in. Now it's working. Thanks for replying back to me.
