hi i just discoverd today that my iphone is stuck in the "headphone mode".
i uninstalled pianist and resat all settings and rebooted a few times but it still stuck...
it really weird.
i was listening to music when some1 called me. i use the in ear apple headphones so they have no mic.
i slid to answer and then pulled out the headphones to use the phone...well like i phone...that worked.
but know im home and i realised when i press the volume buttons, it says ringer (headphones).
i can talk with speaker, bluetoorh headset and with headphones but if there are no headphone in my phone i cant hear anything!
and when i want to play music i can only hear it over the headphones. if i pull them out and press play. the phone plays it but you cant hear anything -.-

this really really sucks i hope someone knows a solution....oh yea i did search but what i found didnt really help!

hey... try puling the head phones in and out a bunch of times. tell me if that works. Same thing happened to me and this is what fixe it. You can also try resetting your settings.

same thing happened to me - after trying different things, the solution for me was very simple:

- Put the phone on mute by sliding the silencer switch until you see the red dot.
- Unmute the phone

Worked for me, maybe it helps you, too.

yeah, same thing happened to me.
Reboots and resetting the springboard didn't help.

Reset all settings messes up my springboard = PITA

Do the insert/removal of the headphone jack several times while the ipod portion is running (where you see the album art and VOLUME). When you see the volume adjust to speaker levels, you know you got it.

Seems like the only thing that works.
