Default have us 1.02 people been forgot about?

is it a matter of we have our phones working so they dont matter anymore. I would love to see some information about us upgrading come into the limelight, as we have not had any good news since the update.

Will we ever be able to update?

    Bill

If your iPhone has never seen 1.1.1, and you really are at 1.0.x, then you can use "Erica's method" to relock you iPhone, then use IPSF to unlock it, then update to 1.1.1 and retain your unlock.

If you are consipiracy-theory oriented, you might think that IPSF and devteam are the same people, and the above method is just a way to drive IPSF (devteam) profits higher. But seriously, don't think like that. IPSF and devteam are enemies, or else very very good players. I'm thinking the former.

LOL does work. See http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showpost...7&postcount=81 (actually, see that entire thread http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8612 )

It won't work if you've ever been at 1.1.1 (4.x baseband) before doing IPSF. If you have never been there, it does work. If you can't tell if you've been there or not before doing IPSF, then I have no comment.

Note: YouTube at 1.1.1 on non-AT&T is still problematic . But all other functions including voice+data work. But only if your iPhone never saw 1.1.1 before doing IPSF!!!

Calm down , they have to crack the new software in order to provide us with the ability to do the update.

The new software release is encrypted, so as such they are mining the data we need from within the new release. Dont forget that the dev et all have iphones at release 1.0.2.

Even the dumbest people couldn't come up with such a "conspiracy theory", this is ridiculous and brings people posting this crap very very close to the point where they get kicked out from Hackint0sh. Seriously.

I have never used IPSF and plan on waiting another week or two before trying anything but am I right in thinking this might not be true? Check out the IPSF website. I think they are saying that their new v1.6 will work with the 4.x baseband.

Yeah, you're right, they are now saying that with v1.6 "We have now tested SimFree v1.6 with phones that have the new Baseband version 04.01.13_G with full success.".

I would agree that it's best to wait for independent confirmation of that, rather than taking their word for it. Interesting if true though.

I have a 1.0.2 iphone that i unlocked using anysim and i have NEVER updated to 1.1.1 My IMEI showing corectly. Now i want to upgrade to 1.1.1 with IPSF solution.

Do I need to follow any relock procedures or procedures on restoring original firmware before starting SimFree v1.6? Or I can simpli install it and run after I pay the reseller?
