People have been complaining that when doing a restore (v1.0.2) after doing the GeoHotz hardware unlok method the iPhone gets locked again.
I managed to solve this problem to unlock the iPhone WITHOUT the need to redo the hardware unlock and posted it on my blog at

It Worked for me!!

I can confirm that my iPhone did reUnlocked following those steps

restore does not lock the iphone.. these steps are just for re-activating..

just use iNdependence..

restore does not lock again, just need to activate.
