It's kinda cool hearing about all the different carriers around the world... UK to Australia, Indonesia to Iran.
Apparently there are over 400 GSM carriers in the world.
I wonder how many have iPhones on their networks right now?!

Same result here, using geohot unlock method.
Simpati: outgoing call only, no incoming call
Halo: same
Matrix: Cant even get on network. error with "Fixed Dialing only".
Three: no incoming call, outgoing OK
XL bebas: outgoing call works, incoming call works (sometime). It seems like if the phone switches BTS then incoming call would not work anymore.

Fhew. Glad that I have not touched mine at all. Was thinking Geohot. I am on Matrix and IM3 -postpaids.
Anyone heard about Hypercard? I know someone has been offering a group buy i Indo. I placed mine, but have not heard back.
For fellow Jakarta folks, would you mind PM your contact to get in touch on this?

IM3 postpaid work fine using HW unlock. Never heard about hypercard but if it work the same like turbo sim then only Mentari, IM3 postpaid confirm to work. XL prepaid doesn't work 3 and Simpati outgoing only. But if it work like the supersim then probably less will work since you need to clone the sim first.

So if my IM3 postpaid should work, then I'll try this weekend. My Matrix postpaid still gak bisa ya? Double confirm: you used the needle method? no soldering right?
BTW, I met a few people with working iPhone in Jakarta already, incl. few stars/singers. Said they bought for 12mio for an unlocked phone.
