I get this clicking noise, similar to a fast tapping noise in the background whenever I go to the ipod function on the iPhone. It is a 16GB version, Winpwned, unlocked with bootneuter and everything is working perfectly. This is only through headphones. I have changed out the headphone ribbon cable and attached parts, but it seems to be a firmware problem (or more serious harware fault which scares me a bit).
I have tried restoring 1.1.4 from virginised and that didn't fix it.
Searched here and other forums but no joy.
Has anyone else had this experience and if so could you fix it your self or is it a return to shop fault?
Doesn't appear to be caused by any apps as I tried it out immediately after restore and same thing.
