It pops off and clips back on. Easiest 2 sec thing. Stick plastic spunger n side and pop off. You will see when it unhooks.

There's some glue that holds it down a little bit near the edge closest to the battery wires. I started from the opposite corner of the metal gently prying along the edge. You don't need to remove any of the nearby screws either btw. Eventually you can ease the metal protective cover off entirely once you get enough of it open.

Most likely you disconnected a cable underneath the logic board.. Check out the guide here for instructions how to remove the board.. You don't need to remove the board, just confirm that connections underneath it are connected.

Quick warning: It's fairly difficult to connect the connectors again once they're removed.. but if you're getting a white screen you don't have much of a choice.

    Cheers

Hmm well I'd imagine that you could get all funky colours to nothing if the screen connector is loose. Sorry, not sure which one it is. I'd advise you unplug all of them (Actually four connections.. looking down at a phone [faced-down] there are two on the left hand side, fairly close to each other and two on the right hand, one requiring you to 'unclip' a hinge before moving it around)

Just read the instructions before doing them.

Let us know if you get stuck.

    Cheers
