Default Hacking 3G iPhone for Tmobile 3G, Could it be Possible?

    http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_touch_di...e-news-552.php

The HTC Touch Diamond got an updated frequency to work on the GSM 850 Band, my question might be stupid, but does anyone think it "could" be possible to hack the 3G iPhone to work on the T-Mobile 3G band? Possibly "activating" part of the radio to pick up that T-Mobiles 3G [whenever they decide release it]

It will be a while before an unlock is available to let you use a t-Mobile sim in a 3g iPhone. Please read our sticky about thread conformity

I wasn't talking about an Unlock, I know it's going to be quite some time before a 3G unlock happens.
T-Mobile 3G is going to be on the Bands 1700/2100, if I'm correct, doesn't the iPhone 3G need to support "both" the 1700 and 2100 in order for 3G to work properly?
The news article I posted shows that a band can be added to a phone, the Diamond got the GSM 850 Band added to it.. so my question, does anyone think the 1700 Band could be added to the Phone 3G to Fully support Tmobile's 3G network, when it eventually comes out?
