    Default Google Maps problem 1.1.1

Under 1.0.2, whenever I clicked on the address of a contact in the addressbook, it would find their location in Google Maps.

After upgrading to 1.1.1 I have found that it gives me the following error: No search results found

However, by typing in their postcode manually it will find their location.

    Anybody else getting this error?

this problem is also in v1.0.2 so it appears to be something google have broken server side. If you remove the post code from the contact and make sure the country is correct it works.

Yes - just confirmed this with a 1.0.2 phone. I hope the fix it - it's a really great feature!

    Hi mrgrieves

I am experiencing the EXACT same problem too. Under 1.0.2 I used to be able to click on any address in my contacts and then it would display the location.

Since upgrading to 1.1.1 I also get the message 'No search results found'

If I type in the postcode then the location is found.

    Anybody else experiencing the same?

    Andrew

It looks like it is a problem at Google, as it no longer works on 1.0.2 either!
