Default Going to UK in a abt a 10 days time. Need help with Apple Store

Ok. As some of you guys would know, I discovered 2 specks on my screen. They may be dead pixels or maybe dust under the screen. I will be travelling to the UK on the 17th and hopefully, get the Apple Store there to repair it. I am in Singapore right now with Singtel as my carrier. What are the steps to implement before I go down to the Apple Store? Obviously, I need to put in the AT&T card. My iPhone is bought in the US about 2 months ago. Hopefully, they can repair them since Apple gives international warranty? I dont mind signing up for O2 either. Just have to terminate it later. Any help guys?

I smashed the screen on my US purchased iphone some weeks ago & took it to an apple store ( i live in the UK ) to see if they would repair or replace it @ my cost. The techie said they would replace it @ 165 cost but when they checked the ser number & found the phone was from USA they wouldnt touch it & advised that it was to be sent back to point of sale. Things worked out OK as i had the screen & digitizer replaced @ less cost, this may be an option for you.

If you need more info pm me.

That doesn't make sense as it's a international warranty AND they were charging you anyhow! I've had my macbook's and iPod serviced and once replaced in the UK and they were all bought in the US since I lived there previous to moving here. Did they give any specific reasons?

Unlike ipods and macbooks, iphones are "country specific", and hence don't come with an international warranty.
