I've read so many posts I am dizzy, so don't hammer at me any more please...
What is the best sequence of actions I must do so that I get an unlocked iPhone with everything (even Youtube) except phone and SMS?
PLease tell me what clever steps should I take.
I want to play the safest way....

Well I did the activation legally even though I am in UK !
Used Wirecard virtual Mastercard with a US address and then failed the credit check and entered the details manually for GoPhone.
Too long to explain but look under the thread for Activation outside of USA....
Alternatively use Anderson Technologies hack.
Confused ??? Take your time.
Everything is reversible so dont worry !

Hey Syntrak - I'm in the UK also, and although I have activated my iphone using the Anderson method, I'd be interested in trying your approach. Would you mind giving a step by step, as in do I register with wirecard first, gophone... which to click on the itunes activation screen, etc. As I'd love to get the youtube funtion working, much appreciated

Still waiting for that to work ! I heard it takes time ! But all of the phone functions are active and you can see the local carriers and I even get 5 bars of signal strength but cannot phone ! (obviously).

I dont understand why everybody want to get this YouTube app to work, why dont U go online with WiFi and in browser open www.youtube.com? Or that isnt possible???

The iPhone doesn't play flash files, so it won't play any flash content on websites and that includes every video on youtube, if you access by webpage
The YouTube app uses the H.264 codec...
