Although his blog does state that it *might* need hardware which will make it basically useless. Im not being negative - this is amazing news but unless they release a software unlock TurboSim might be the only option.

The current method involves taking apart your phone and doing some complicated soldering, with a high probablity of a bricked phone. Although after the phone is unlocked all the hardware can be removed. We hope to find a software unlock very soon.

Soldering?! High probablity of a bricked phone?

It's hardly user friendly.

At least it's a step forward.
