    More information will be posted when we have them.
    As usual, applying the new firmware may change your baseband hence removing the unlock state (2G). For 3G, it may require a new update for yellowsn0w. If the BB does not change, it may break you jailbreak...

    BEST thing to do now is to sit still and wait...

    Please DO NOT update. We will investigate and report back to you ASAP.

    There are only some minor Bugfixes with Safari and with pictures not diplayed correctly when they were downloaded from mail.

    But I donīt know exactly about the baseband so wait for dev team!

    Upgraded my 2G from 2.2 to 2.2.1 and all is fine.
    Baseband is still 04.05.04_G
    Iphone remains activated.
    You will lose the jailbreak, so no cydia

    UPDATE

    Jailbreak is possible on a 2.2.1 firmware, but not yet recommended.
    Cydia and installer are running fine on my 2G.
