To me it seems like a brilliant idea, I like your concept Though, I think Apple would've made it at least a bit slimmer...

well, its already rumored that the 2nd Gen is thicker because of the bigger batter and included 3G antennas etc..

I hope u have a copyright or some type of protection on that because that is quite amazing! You should head apple design team, that touch qwerty is fantastic!(I can first handedly see how useful it would be as I type this post from the iPhone

I think the keyboard thing is a great idea, but it would probably add a lot more thickness.

thecompkid I agree, but I can live with a couple more millimeters thicker if i get an additional +12 hours of real life everyday use as compared to now.

The main rumour that I heard was that it would be 2.5mm thinner, but hey, rumours are just that.....

i really like ur concept well, job but i rather a physical KB, can u make a concept with a physical keyboard?

i know i will be in the minority here but i like my all virtual keyboard why, because there is a slight possiblity that the configuartion of the the size of keys might be interchangeable as oppsed to a stactic old boring keyboard thats physical plus, all we would really need is a option for heptiac feedback, adding a pysical keyboard would also add bulk and take away from the sexiness of the slim two tone beast besides if we want to bulk it up save that space for something like 3g or more memory
